How matching works
New Old Closet™ scores color harmony, occasion, style level, season and recent wear history. Wardrobe information and clothing photos are saved with your account using Cloudflare cloud storage. Clothing photos are sent to OpenAI for AI recognition and catalog-style editing.
Your data
Saves your clothing records, original and edited photos, and outfit plans in one private file on this device. Your greeting photo and account password are not included.
Your account uses cloud storage and a local cache. Check the sync status above before relying on access from another device. Your optional greeting photo stays on this device. Review AI-edited images for changes to color, pattern or garment details.
Wear statistics
Based on “Wear this” and “Wore this today” logs. Each item counts once per day. Saved looks and weekly plans do not count as worn.
Cost per wear = purchase price ÷ lifetime logged wear days. Prices keep their selected currency; no currency conversion is applied.
Sell what you don’t wear
Suggestions use your latest logged wear, a last-worn date you enter, or the date the item was added. Missing history is not proof an item went unworn.
Update earlier wear history
Prepare your listing
Copy your text, download the photo, then upload them on your chosen marketplace. Review size, condition, price, shipping and photos before publishing. Current original photos should show the garment’s true condition.
