New Old Closet™ Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of New Old Closet™, operated by NOC Ware Inc., a California corporation. Our contact email is support@newoldcloset.com. Our Privacy Policy is available at https://newoldcloset.com/#privacy.
1. Age, location and agreement
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. The service is currently offered only to residents of the United States. When creating an account, you must actively confirm that you are 18 or older and agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. The checkbox is a personal declaration, not independent age verification. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
2. Your account
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. Do not share your account or access another person's account without permission. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You remain responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
3. The service and testing
New Old Closet helps organize clothing photos, identify garment details, suggest outfits, plan wardrobes, and display logged wear statistics. The service is currently in testing. Features and availability may change, and interruptions or errors may occur. Maintain your own copies of photos and other information you want to keep. An account does not guarantee permanent access to any specific feature.
4. Your photos and information
You keep ownership of the photos and other content you provide. Only upload content you own or have permission to use. You grant NOC Ware Inc. permission to host, copy, process, edit and display that content as necessary to operate the features you request, including processing by our service providers. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize us to use private wardrobe photos in advertising without your separate permission.
Do not upload unlawful content, another person's private information without permission, or content that infringes someone else's rights. You can remove items or request account deletion using the available controls or by contacting support. Retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
5. AI images, suggestions and statistics
AI may incorrectly identify clothing or change colors, patterns, labels, garment details or appearance. Review processed photos and item details before relying on them. Outfit suggestions are informational; use your judgment about weather, comfort and suitability.
Wear statistics reflect the information logged in the app, not independently observed behavior. Cost per wear uses the purchase price you enter and recorded wear days; it is not a valuation, resale-price estimate or financial recommendation. Resale reminders may be incomplete when wear history is missing.
6. Marketplace links and selling
Resale features help prepare listing text, download a photo and open a third-party marketplace. They do not automatically publish a listing, guarantee a sale, set a market value or make New Old Closet the seller or buyer. You must review and publish listings yourself, accurately describe size, condition and defects, and follow the marketplace's rules. Use current photos that show the actual condition of the item.
Third-party accounts, fees, payments, shipping, returns and disputes are handled under the applicable marketplace's terms. New Old Closet does not collect marketplace sale proceeds through this feature.
7. Charges and subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are not currently available in this testing version. These Terms do not authorize a charge. Before paid service begins, the applicable price, billing period, renewal terms, included limits, cancellation process and other required purchase information will be presented separately. Any future purchase requires its own checkout authorization. Deleting an account and canceling a subscription may be separate actions, especially for purchases managed through an app store.
8. Optional messages
Text-message reminders are optional and are not currently active. Saving a phone number or an optional messaging preference does not authorize a subscription charge. Any future text-message program will provide its own opt-in information. Agreement to these Terms does not itself constitute marketing or text-message consent.
9. Acceptable use and account restrictions
Do not use the service for fraud, harassment or unlawful purposes; attempt to access another user's data; disrupt the service; evade usage limits; or misuse its interfaces. We may restrict or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks or violations of these Terms, or accounts that do not meet the age or location requirements in Section 1. You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Where appropriate and practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve an account issue.
10. Copyright complaints
If you believe content in New Old Closet infringes your copyright or other rights, email support@newoldcloset.com with a description of the work, where the content appears, your contact information, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized. We will review the report and may remove the content or restrict the account involved.
11. Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings or by contacting support@newoldcloset.com. When an account is deleted, we remove your wardrobe photos, items, outfits and plans from our active systems as described in the Privacy Policy; some information may remain temporarily in backups or where the law requires us to keep it. If we suspend or close an account under Section 9, the same deletion practices apply unless we must keep information to address abuse, security or legal obligations.
12. Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a useful service but do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free AI output, complete data recovery or any particular outfit or resale result. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the testing service is provided as available without additional guarantees. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, warranties or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, or responsibility that cannot legally be limited.
13. Updates
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The current version and effective date will be made available to users. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice and request renewed agreement where required. We will not treat these Terms as permission to impose an undisclosed subscription charge.
14. Contact, disputes and applicable law
Contact NOC Ware Inc. at support@newoldcloset.com with account, service or Terms questions. If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. These Terms are governed by California law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. Nothing here requires you to waive non-waivable consumer rights.
